Last night, when I was tucking in my 4-year-old, he wrapped his little arms around my neck, smushed his head next to mine, and told me I was “cool”. It was a simple, small moment in life but it will be one of those memories that stick in my mind forever. All moms need to hear some encouraging words from time to time for a bit of inspiration. And last night my little boy gave me just that.
We mothers sometimes feel worn-out, deflated, and depleted. We doubt ourselves and our parenting skills. It’s very common to feel this way, especially when you are a new mom and trying to figure it all out. When moms need a little inspiration, it’s always nice to hear some encouraging words of wisdom.
A little reminder that we are doing amazingly at one of the hardest jobs there is…being a Mom can go a long way.
Especially on those days when the struggles seem too much and there’s not much left in the tank, a simple gesture by way of a kind word or a note can really help lift the spirits.
