Hopefully one of these reads can become a holiday favorite for you and your little ones!

Some are silly and just for fun, while others include heartwarming little lessons about friendship, kindness, helping others, believing in yourself, and the true spirit of Christmas.

We’ve tried to include a good variety of some of the best Christmas picture books that are kid-approved, along with a few unique titles that I haven’t seen in a lot of lists out there.

These wonderful Christmas books can be read with kindergarten and pre k children, some can even be enjoyed with even kids who are a little bit older (7-9). It depends on the child, their interests, and their development.

You know your child best so keep that in mind when deciding which books to read with them!

I like to hit our local thrift shop or used book store to see what they have to offer and sometimes I order online for convenience. You can also borrow books from your local library if you’d rather. It’s a terrific way to save money while still surrounding your kids with the wonder of books!

This is a lovely book with adorable characters and an important message about the true spirit of Christmas.

It relates a valuable message about how some kids have trouble with the holidays because their family does not have enough money for gifts: that Christmas is not about receiving gifts, toys, or how much stuff you get. It’s about sharing time with friends and family, helping out those in need, and showing love to others.
