Being A Mother Quotes And Sayings, Words of Wisdom

I consider it an honour and a privilege to be a mom and to celebrate that, I have collected some words of wisdom on motherhood to share with you. A celebration of being a mother, quotes and sayings that will touch your heart, make you think, bring a smile or maybe a tear.

I never really understood how much my mother loved me until I had a child of my own. I mean, yes, of course, I knew she loved me but I didn’t comprehend the depth of that love, the fierceness, and the fact that it goes beyond time and dimension. It goes on forever and beyond this lifetime.

Motherhood is huge and scary. It is amazing and exhausting and life-changing. There is no such thing however, as the perfect mother. We really do learn as we go and do our best to raise kind humans.

I dedicate this post to my late mother Velma and my mother-in-law Cathy. One who nurtured and raised me, taught me love, compassion and is the very core of my being; the other who is the most amazing woman, best Gramma to Bug, inspires and guides me with love on my journey as a new mom in absence of my own.

Three generations. I am a strong woman because a strong woman raised me, and a strong woman raised her.
